Cherkizovo Group is the largest producer of meat products and animal feed in Russia, and a leader in the poultry, pork and processed meat product markets. By 2017, the company needed to improve the efficiency of its closing process due to a number of limitations:
- Insufficient involvement of members of different divisions in the closing process, insufficient understanding of their roles and significance in the overall closing process;
- Coordination of those involved in the process was organised manually (by e-mail, telephone) and was therefore unreliable;
- It was impossible to carry out a swift visual analysis of bottlenecks in the process, or analyses of previous closing cycles.
